Upgrade your earphones with Comply Foam Premium Earphone Tips

I recently got myself a Jabra Halo Smart Bluetooth headset recently. It hangs well over my shoulder comfortably when in use. Unfortunately, the earphone tips that came with the headset did not fit my ear at all. The Jabra Halo Smart actually came with 4 sets of earphone tips of different sizes. None of them fit in my ear. That makes the headset quite useless to me if I can’t fit them in my ear. Therefore, I had to replace the stock earphone tips with ones that would fit. That’s where the Comply Foam Premium Earphone Tips comes in.

The ultimate earphone upgrade – Comply Foam Premium Earphone Tips

For the Jabra Halo Smart headset, the required fit is the 200 series of the Comply Foam Premium Earphone Tips. If you’re unsure which one would fit, you can check out Comply’s website here and use their earphone finder to see which series is the one you need. The Comply Foam Premium Earphone Tips comes in many different varieties and packages. There are three primary types of tips: Sport, Isolation and Comfort. I went with the variety pack (see image below) as I wanted to try the full range of the tips

Each type of the Comply Foam Premium Earphone Tips gives you a different hearing experience based on its build. The comfort tip are designed with a spherical shape to provide maximum comfort. This is the tip that I am currently using with my Jabra Halo Smart headset. The spherical shape of the earphone tip reduces the amount of pressure on your ear canal compared to the sports or isolation tips. The sport tips are designed to stay put on in your ear canal while you workout and the isolation tips are designed to provide further insulation of external noise.

Replacing the stock headset tip is easy. All you need to do is to pull out the stock earphone tips and plug in the Comply Foam Premium Earphone Tips. It’s really that easy.

As you can see from the photos, the Jabra stock earphone tips are made from silicone and has little tolerance for fit. If it doesn’t fit well with the shape of your ear canal, it would not stay as there are nothing to provide pressure from the earphone tips to your ear canal. This is quite the opposite with the Comply Foam Premium Earphone Tips as the foam would provide the necessary pressure to hold the earphones in your ear canal.

The video below would show you how the memory foam material would expand itself into the shape of your ear canal. As per instruction, you need to compress the tips as I’ve done in the video below. After that, you will hold the earphone in your ear for about 10-15 seconds as the foam expands in your ear canal.

Conclusion

It’s hard to write in an article how great the Comply Foam Premium Earphone Tips feels in your ear and how well it works to isolate the external sound while providing you with a perfect and comfortable fit. I would highly recommend the Comply Foam Premium Earphone Tips if you find that you’re not satisfied with your earphones fit and performance. Give it a try and I’m sure there’s no turning back.
