Impressed. Very impressed. That’s my first thought when I finally managed to get Parallels Access to work. Not at the fault of the product, but my inability to download the desktop agent for Parallels Access. But wow indeed once I’m able to run it.
Every year, Parallels continues to impress me with its ability to add new features to the already feature rich Parallels Desktop for Mac product. Since the time I started my journey with using a Mac and therefore using (at the time) Parallels Desktop 5 for Mac for my Windows virtualisation needs, it was impressive even at the time. And every year without fail, Parallels Desktop just continue to keep getting better, not just from the perspective of having new features but also in improving its performance. And now, Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac has just released available first for existing customer upgrades and soon, for new customers.
If you are looking to expand your MacBook Air or Pro Retina’s storage capacity by using an SD Card and utilizing the idle SD Card slot, you’d probably already have heard of the Nifty MiniDrive. The default OS X Finder does its job ok. As long as all you need is simple file management capabilities, then it provides you with everything you need. But if you find yourself using Finder on a daily basis and most of your time at work, then perhaps you should take a look at Path Finder.
