How to re-arrange your Windows XP taskbar

The ability to re-arrange the applications on the taskbar is one of the nice new features of Windows 7. This is of course nothing exceptionally new, as the dock on Apple Macs allows you to do it for quite some time.
But if you’re still stuck in realm of Windows XP or even Vista, like me on my Win XP work machine, you’ll need some extra help to re-arrange those running applications on the taskbar.

6 months ago, I would never have thought that the iPhone could change the way I engage my daily routine. Sure, the iPhone is cool and all. But it’s just yet another smartphone, right? Vista Help: User Profile Service failed the logon

My brother just had this problem where he was not able to log on into his Vista Home premium notebook. It happened when he accidentally shut down his notebook while the Dell utility was updating his machine. The next thing he knew, he got the following error message when he tried to log on to his machine.
The user profile service service failed the login. User profile cannot be loaded.

NEF Codec with Windows 7 64-bit (and Vista 64-bit too!) – Updated

It’s known that Nikon (stupidly if you’d ask me) choose to not release a 64-bit version of the NEF codec. And since I installed the 64-bit version of Vista on my desktop workstation since it has 4GB of RAM, I’ve not been able to view the thumbnails of my NEF files. Instead, I just opted to use a photo viewer application, Picasa to be specific, to browse through my camera’s RAW files to pick the ones that I’d like to edit and move on from there. More >

Windows Vista DVD Maker
If you’re a Windows Vista Home Premium or Windows Vista Ultimate user, you would probably have noticed the Windows DVD Maker and might even have tried it out. And in all honesty, I’d have to say that I actually like it.

Pretty much everyone harping about Google’s Chrome these days. I know. I’m one of them too. Which is also why it’s so frustrating when I couldn’t get Chrome to work on my work notebook which is running Windows XP SP3.
